Book:

Last Newsletter, we highlighted that Judy Blume was fighting on the front lines about Book Banning, this week we want to spotlight her new movie based on her book, "Are You There God? it's Me Margaret"

Almost 50 years since being written, the movie has been praised by fans and critics scoring a nearly perfect score on rotten tomatoes (99%).

The cast includes Rachel McAdams, Kathy Bates and Abby Ryder Fortson and is directed by Kelly Fremon Craig who almost was a writer for the film along with the wonderful Judy Blume herself.

Movie Plot:

"When her family moves from the city to the suburbs, 11-year-old Margaret navigates new friends, feelings, and the beginning of adolescence."

Just wanted to put this book adaption on your radar if you haven't heard about it yet!

The movie is out in theaters this weekend!
