Today's Table of Content:

  • 📚 Read More x Tattered Cover Book Catalog

Let's get ready to ruum-read! (Clearly we are excited for the boxing match this weekend 😆)

As you may (or may not) know, we are Denverites, and as true Colorado kids, we were elated when we formed our partnership with one of the longest-standing independent bookstores, Tattered Cover!

With the upcoming launch of our new social bookclubbing company, Bookum (more details in the Book section), we have been brainstorming some ways we (as in Read More) can connect to expand our partnership.

From these conversations, we decided to launch our own mini-bookshop on Tattered's website that fans of ours can support!

We have curated 25 of some of our favorite books/authors we have interviewed to create our own Read More store!

Please support independent bookstores by buying a book from our shop! (You also get extra bragging rights for sticking it to Amazon with each purchase 😉) https://www.tatteredcover.com/store/catalog/read-more-co

The clock has struck midnight for Teresa La Dart, who accused music star Taylor Swift of stealing aspects of her self-published poetry book.

The anti-hero La Dart believed that Swift's "Lover" album infringed on her copyright when she released the companion book with it.

Swift has been in the media nonstop this summer because of her Eras Tour that's literally boosting the US economy (no really, here's proof) and is on pace to be the highest-grossing tour of all time!

With the little time that's in her schedule, Swift and her legal team still had time to beat these accusations.

Hold up, wait a minute, y'all thought we were finished!

Pt.2 of our partnership is even more exciting!

Bookum is set to launch next month, and the generous people at Tattered Cover have allowed us to start our in-store testing! That's right, we will be giving Tattered Cover patrons earlier access to the app while browsing the store! (If you have an Iphone you can download the app here)!

Additionally, those users will also have early access to the Tattered Cover club on the app!

That's right, a Tattered Cover book club will be on the Bookum app!!

But wait… there's more. If you are a Colorado resident, buckle your seat belts… We are having our LAUNCH PARTY at Tattered Book Cover on September 30th, and you are invited!

Save the date! As there will be more details in the coming weeks.

In all seriousness, Tattered Cover is really rolling out the red carpet for us, so please, please, please support them by grabbing a book from our store or visiting the closest Tattered Cover near you if you are in town!

As always, if you enjoyed this week’s newsletter, please share with others. Every share helps and keeps us growing!
